Spring Knitter's Magazine, 2007

Here's my contribution to the Spring Knitter's. Despite all the charts with the pattern, it really is easy to knit and work the decreases along the lace pattern, so you don't have half a motif to chop up. Enjoy! (No, it wasn't on the cover, but it won the most cover votes--thanks!!)

What a lovely top! It should have been the cover!

Howdy! Thanks for visiting Arboreality (and for confirming Indian Plum - I had my suspicions!).

Looks like you might enjoy these sites with all your crafty crafting:

I'll be sure to stop by again in the future - it looks like you and I have some common interests in trees and art!

Cheers,
JLB

Celeste, as I have said before, this is a great pattern, and so well written. The Elann yarn I am using for it calls for a gauge of 22-23/4 inches, so I am using a sport.dk kind of weight. Now if my hands could only get used to working in cotton!

Well, damn, why didn't you tell me you had a blog?

The Camp absolutely should have been the cover, although I can understand why they chose what they did--the juicy colors, probably. Nonetheless, I've made this and I ain't making the cover sweater. As Rob says, this was a great pattern, and I'm in for two more for the girls. A true classic!

And yes, I did thread the tie through the neckline eyelets. Put clay beads on each end. Otherwise, it was knit as written.

Hi everyone! I feel real bad I haven't put new stuff up here, but I've been madly knitting for a few months now, the light at the end of the tunnel appears Aug 17th. I'm so glad you enjoyed the Campanula, too! I promise to put a boatload of new photos up after my August deadline!!! Thanks for stopping by ;0)
